Hi, I’m Ethan West— founder of Western Tropic. I’m a photographer and visual storyteller with a passion for capturing the soul of a moment. Whether I’m shooting a business, a home, or a person, I approach every project with the intent to find what gives the subject its’ light.
I started WTC as a way to merge art with connection—using photography and film not just to document, but to feel. To me, everything has a story: a city street, a family-run café, a quiet mountain home. My goal is to help people see the beauty in their space, their craft, or themselves—and share that vision with the world.
I offer creative media services for real estate, businesses, individuals, and artists, with a focus on cinematic visuals, honest storytelling, and aesthetic depth.
When I’m not behind the camera, I can be found being active, exploring new places, or thinking about the next story I want to tell. I believe in chasing light, trusting your eye, and slowing down enough to actually see the world.
